Galaxy A24 Specs Leaked: 90Hz AMOLED Panel, Exynos 7904, 48MP Camera & More
Samsung has several series of smartphones which fit all price segments, from low-end, entry-level ones to top-tier flagships. One such series is the Galaxy A series, which consists of devices in the midrange segment. One of the upcoming devices from the Galaxy A series is the Galaxy A24. And in this post, we will cover the key specifications of the same.
As the leaks by a Vietnamese site, The Pixel, suggest, the Galaxy A24 will flaunt a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display panel with FHD+ resolution. A high refresh rate of 90Hz is also expected, which is just a cherry on top. The Galaxy A23, launched earlier this year, features an LCD panel. So, the display would be a nice upgrade over the previous generation.
The design of the Galaxy A24 is still unknown. Whether Samsung will go with a punch hole cutout or a waterdrop notch is also unclear.
Moving on to cameras, the device is rumoured to have a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 5MP sensor. The primary sensor will have OIS support. Speaking of the selfie camera, there will be a 16MP sensor on the front.
In the chipset section, things get a bit interesting. According to the same source, the Galaxy A24 will be powered by Exynos 7904. This processor is nearly four years old. For comparison, the Galaxy A23 features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680. So it is a downgrade this time. And if it turns out to be accurate, it is safe to say that this is a bizarre decision by Samsung.
The Galaxy A24 is said to pack a 4000 mAh battery, with support of up to 15W charging. Again, the Galaxy A23 has a 5000 mAh battery with 25W charging support. One more strange choice by Samsung for this device.
Currently, the leaks mention a variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. However, we can expect to have more variants at launch.
The price and launch date of the Galaxy A24 is unclear. Also, note that all of this information is solely based on leaks. So, there are possibilities of seeing several differences in the actual device when Samsung reveals it.
