POCO C50 to Launch in India in the Last Week of November 2022
POCO C50 is all set to launch in India. POCO India has officially announced (via Gadgets360) that they will be launching the POCO C50 in the last week of November. The smartphone will succeed the POCO C40 that was launched globally. Whereas in India, the smartphone will succeed the POCO C31, the latest POCO C series device launched in the country.
The Xiaomi sub-brand is yet to reveal any of the specs. However, the POCO C50 is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi A1+. The company claims the smartphone to be a budget disrupter, have stellar camera performance, immersive multimedia experience, long battery life with a sleek design, and more.
This makes it clear that the POCO C50 will be an entry-level smartphone with a large display and a long battery life. The smartphone was also spotted on the IMEI database and Google Play Supported Devices. Based on the codename in these listings, it is evident that the POCO C50 is a rebranded version of the Redmi A1+, which was launched earlier this year.
If we go by what the leaks have to say, the POCO C50 will have a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a water-drop notch for the front camera. It will sport the MediaTek Helio A22 chipset with 2GB or 3GB of RAM. As for the storage, we will likely have 32GB and 64GB variants to choose from. It will also have microSD card support for storage expansion.
The POCO C50 will also feature a dual camera setup on the rear: 8MP (main) + 2MP (depth) and a 5MP camera on the front. The smartphone will pack a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
Furthermore, the POCO C50 will also have a headphone jack and a fingerprint scanner on the rear for biometric authentication. It is also expected to run Android 12 Go Edition out of the box. Finally, we can expect the POCO C50 to launch under INR 8,999 in India.
