When will Realme 10 Pro and Pro+ 5G be Released in India?

Earlier this month, Mukul Sharma shared a tweet that the realme 10 Pro 5G has been spotted on NBTC and Indian BIS certification websites. In addition, the realme 10 Pro+ 5G was also spotted on the same certification websites in mid-October. Since the certifications are usually received a couple of weeks before the final release, we can expect the realme 10 Pro series to launch very soon in the country.
Furthermore, the company’s CEO has officially teased the realme 10 Pro series. He said in a tweet that a new #AskMadhav episode is coming soon, where he will answer questions regarding realme and its products from the community. In the same tweet, he also teased the realme 10 Pro 5G series saying that he would share some interesting insights on the smartphones in the upcoming #AskMadhav episode.
Both the realme 10 Pro and the 10 Pro+ are 5G smartphones. Both feature a similar boxy design with two camera rings on the back. The realme 10 Pro+ has an in-display fingerprint scanner, while the 10 Pro has a side-mounted one. Plus, both smartphones will run on realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 out of the box. Both phones will be available in Black, Blue and Gold.
The realme 10 Pro+ sports a 6.7-inch 120Hz curved OLED screen, MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G chipset, 108MP (main) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) triple camera setup on the rear, 16MP front camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It is expected to be priced at around ₹20,999 in India.
The realme 10 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch 120Hz flat IPS LCD screen, Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, 108MP (main) + 2MP (macro) dual camera setup on the rear, 16MP front camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It is expected to be priced at ₹18,999 in India.
As there is no specific timeline for when realme launches their number series, it is hard to predict the exact release date of the realme 10 Pro series. For instance, the realme 9 Pro and the 9 Pro+ were launched in February 2022, but the realme 8 Pro was launched in March 2021.
Since the Redmi Note 12 series, the rival to the realme 10 Pro series, is also launching very soon, it seems that realme wants to release their smartphones earlier in India. In conclusion, we can expect the realme 10 Pro and the 10 Pro+ 5G to be released by December 2022.
